Just about every classroom has access to a large wall map, but what about a giant world map?

The one above is a monstrous 12ft wide, which makes it so much easier to recognise locations than a simple world atlas book! The map itself is colourful and engaging, displaying all ocean names, countries and 190 world flags. As it’s so big, it comes in 8 parts that you just line up when you’re mounting it to the wall. Just remember to mount on backing paper first so you can easily take it with you, should you change classrooms. Overall, what a wonderful way to teach geography to children of all ages.
