Description
A set of 48 stickers displaying the national flag of Guatemala. The design consists of three vertical stripes: two light blue stripes on the sides and a white stripe in the middle.
In the centre of the white stripe, there is the Coat of Arms of Guatemala, featuring a green and red Resplendent Quetzal (the national bird) perched on a scroll that contains the date of Guatemala’s independence (15 September 1821). Behind the bird are two crossed rifles and two crossed swords, symbolising the nation’s readiness to defend its independence and sovereignty.
The blue stripes represent the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, while the white stripe symbolises peace and purity.
