Recently, Scott Kelly returned to Earth after a 340-day stay on the International Space Station and now has the mission of readjusting to life on our planet.
To get a glimpse into what his life will be like for the next few weeks, we turn to astronaut Leland Melvin who had a similar experience (albeit to a lesser extent) when he returned to Earth after a 12 day mission in 2008.
He covers many things that we take for granted, such as seeing family and friends, feeling the ground beneath your feet and having a delicious meal that’s not been dehydrated for consumption in space!
