A Cookie Monster rug you can make yourself

It may surprise you that this wonderful Cookie Monster rug was created in less than an hour.

It uses blue faux-fur as the base, balls of wool for the eyes and a few extra bits and pieces to make it more authentic. Just like a classic bear skin rug, the Cookie Monster has a raised head that’s stuffed with foam to give it added structure; otherwise the rug would appear flat and not as realistic.

They’re perfect for a reading corner and you could even make some Cookie Monster friends in different colours. The tutorial also explains how the cookie cushions were made if you wanted to make those too.
