A bluetooth-connected, throwable microphone for the classroom

It may look and feel like a football but inside the QBall contains some clever technology: a wireless microphone. It connects using bluetooth from within the ball to an external receiver and speaker.

As the ball is passed or thrown from student to student, the microphone can detect when it’s in motion and mute the audio to eliminate unwanted noise from thumps, bumps and bounces. When the ball is stationary, it records the audio and projects it live to the output speaker of your choosing.

It’s currently available to pre-order for $150.
